Companies in the report are ranked by year over a four year period
making it easy to identify which companies are performing well
or not so well. The trend in the particular financial measure is
also clear from the rankings. All the reported results are brought
together so that for example the largest companies in the industry
in 2005 are displayed and the growth over the period. The following

The rankings make it easy to identify companies which meet particular
criteria for example to find a shortlist of potential take-over
targets by turnover you would simply turn to the listing of companies
ranked by sales. Scanning the listing will allow a criteria such
as above £1M turnover but below £20M. This is a very
easy way to derive lists of firms of potential interest. The full

in the company report section with one company per page.
